Helping people confidently use Artificial Intelligence to improve everyday life.
That's the mission. It isn't a tagline we reverse-engineered from a business plan — it's the thing we test every decision against, including the ones that cost us money.
The people with the most to gain from AI are, almost without exception, the people least likely to be offered a real chance to learn it. They are not our charity cases. They are the whole point.
Six things, and each one costs us something.
- AI literacy should be accessible.Which is why every community class works end to end on free tools. That costs us real money, permanently, and it never gets cheaper.
- Technology should reduce stress, not create it.Which is why we will tell you not to use AI when a simpler fix works — and we will tell you that even when we'd make more money teaching you the complicated thing.
- Nobody should be unable to improve their life with AI because they can't afford it.A community class is $15.
- Education should be practical. You bring one real problem from your actual week. You leave having solved it yourself. If you didn't build something, we didn't teach you — and that's our failure, not yours.
- There is no behind.Every AI website you have ever visited has quietly told you that you're late. We won't. And we will never use that fear to sell you anything, which means leaving the highest-converting message in this industry on the table forever.
- We say what we won't do, and then we don't do it.A value that costs nothing convinces nobody.
What we will never do.
This list is the closest thing we have to a constitution. If we ever break one of these, you should stop trusting us — and you would be right to.
- We won't recommend a tool we earn a commission on.
- We won't recommend AI where a simpler fix works.
- We won't hand you a strategy deck and disappear.
- We won't help you use AI to mislead a client, a student, or a reader.
- We won't pretend to have clients we don't have.
- We won't put your email into a drip sequence.
- We won't tell you AI is coming for your job in order to sell you a class about it.
- We won't sell your data. Not aggregated, not anonymized, not to a partner, not for the mission.
- We won't take your money for the wrong class — every course page tells you who it isn't for.
Published every year. Including the years they disappoint us.
Most organizations publish testimonials, because testimonials are easy and cannot be checked. We're going to publish numbers instead — and a sharp person can catch us out on a number.
| What we publish | Why this one | 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| People taught | The only figure most organizations would show you. | — |
| Complimentary classes we ran | The ones we designated and announced. Not seats given out on request. | — |
| Community-rate seats taken | And which classes they were in. | — |
| % who arrived having never used AI at all | The one that matters most. If it drops below half, we are drifting toward the people who are easiest to serve — regardless of revenue — and we will say so here, in public, before anyone else notices. | — |
| % still using it at 90 days | Satisfaction is easy to buy. Transfer isn't. A class rated 4.9 out of 5 that nobody uses is a failure with excellent manners. | — |
| Refund rate, and every reason given | A class that gets refunded is a class we need to rebuild — not remarket. | — |
And what we don't have yet
Testimonials. Client logos. A "trusted by 200 businesses" counter.
We could put them there this afternoon — everybody does. But one of the things on our list is that we won't pretend to have clients we don't have, and a warm quote from an imaginary grateful grandmother would be precisely that.
An honest zero is a better argument than a beautiful lie — and it's one you can't catch us out on.
